Carrying on with the summer theme, I had chosen to make a congratulatory card this week - associating sun with happy occasions. A scalloped background was cut onto a summery stripy paper by Colorbok 'Sweet Blooms'. Next, a three-tiered flower was die-cut and softly embossed using Go Kreate 'Concentrics die' and finished with a embossed flower sticker (by We R Memory Keepers ' Twirl collection'). A red bee (also by We R Memory Keepers, 'Ribbit clear stamps') was then inked in Memento 'Lady Bug' and spotted flying around the flower. The card was then completed with a soft pink border-Congratulations ribbon (by East of India) and a wiggly white ribbon (by John Lewis) just underneath.
So.. a summery flowery card to celebrate a happy occasion this week!
