So, this week I had been playing with my recent purchases and decided to use summer as the theme inspiration. The card featured two birdies hopping around on a blooming pasture, enjoying the atmosphere as well as each other. The wild colourful background is by We R Memory Keepers 'White Out Collection' (Nonsense - Ding Dong). Then, my glittery birdies (from Whirligig Bag-O-Buttons) had their tail, beak and feet stamped in various Memento inks (using Papertrey ' Everday Button Bits'). The pasture was then pencil-coloured and blooms were decorated with Anita's gemstones in four different colours. Absolutely adore Anita's gemstones (come in a wheel with twelve unique colours at a decent price)! Final touches included a rainbow colour ribbon (by John Lewis) and a simple message inked using the same stamp set to tie everything in - just a little something this summer! :)
